1.Anna Chang

Anna Chang, MD

Dr. Anna Chang is Professor of Medicine in the UCSF Division of Geriatrics, Department of Medicine. She is an educator, a mentor, a clinician, and a leader. She is board certified in Geriatric Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Chang directs the UCSF School of Medicine Bridges Curriculum Clinical Microsystems Clerkship, the integrated clinical skills and health systems curriculum for all first- and second-year medical students.

2.Brian Schwartz

Brian Schwartz, MD

Professor of Medicine; Division of Infectious Diseases

Brian Schwartz is a physician specializing in the treatment of infectious diseases, specifically the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of infections in immunocompromised patients. He serves as the Associate Chair of Education for the Department of Medicine. He previously served as the Program Director of the Infectious Diseases Fellowship at UCSF and the Course Director for the Pathogens and Host Defense block in the School of Medicine.

3.Bridget O'Brien

Bridget O'Brien, PhD, MS

Bridget O’Brien, PhD has been a faculty member in the Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine, since 2008. She is a professor of medicine and an education scientist in the Office of Medical Education's Center for Faculty Educators. As co-director of the Teaching Scholars Program and the UCSF-University of Utrecht Health Professions Education doctoral program she teaches and mentors faculty and learners interested in education research and scholarship. At the San Francisco VA, she directs the Advanced Fellowship in Health Professions Education Evaluation and Research.

4. Stephanie Rennke

Stephanie Rennke, MD

Stephanie Rennke is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine at UCSF Medical Center. She has been a clinician-educator at UCSF since 2006. She works on the inpatient services at UCSF Medical Center. Stephanie is co-director of the division’s faculty development and mentorship programs and is a site director for UCSF Health in the UCSF School of Medicine's Clinical Microsystem Clerkship (CMC). Her professional interests include medical education, faculty development and health systems improvement.

5. Vanessa Thompson

Vanessa Thompson, MD

Professor of Medicine; Division of General Internal Medicine

Vanessa Thompson, MD is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and a primary care provider at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. She is a clinician-educator with medical education roles as a coach for the School of Medicine and an Associate Program Director for UCSF's Internal Medicine residency. Dr. Thompson is committed to diversity and equity and is a founder of the Women in Leadership Development (WILD) program for the Department of Medicine. She was inducted into the UCSF Academy of Medical Educators in 2020.

6. Camille Perez

Camille Perez, MPA

Camille Perez began her career at UCSF in 2017 in the SOM, Surgery Division, as the Program Manager for the Cardiothoracic Fellowship Program.  In 2021, she joined the DOM as the administrator for two new programs: The Program for Clinician-Educator Success (PRO-cess) and the DOM, Neurology, and Pediatrics Physician-Scientist Career Development Program (PSCDP).
