Mentorship
Department of Medicine Program for Clinician-Educator Success (DOM PRO-cess)

DOM PRO-cess Mentorship Program

Most faculty have career mentors in their divisions but not all have mentors that are specific to their role as clinician educators. The DOM PRO-cess Mentorship program fills this gap by connecting clinician-educators with experienced faculty mentors from across the Department of Medicine. Participants are matched with an experienced education mentor for 6-12 months to receive guidance on CV and Educator Portfolio review, career exploration, professional development, and career planning.

DOM PRO-cess also connects our clinician-educators through peer and group mentoring opportunities which may be based on site (ZSFG, SFVA and UCSF Health), academic interest, or career stage. If you are interested in joining a peer or group mentoring group, please click on the link below.

To be matched with an education mentor, complete the “Match with a Mentor” survey below. We are also actively recruiting mentors. If you are interested in mentoring a fellow clinician-educator, please complete the “Become a Mentor” survey below. To learn more, please contact Stephanie Rennke at [email protected]
