UCSF has numerous faculty development opportunities for those pursuing careers in medical education. The Center for Faculty Educators (CFE) serves as a hub for this work with over a hundred offerings each year to build skills in all types of teaching, curriculum design, medical education scholarship among many more. The PRO-cess group in the DOM has worked to create faculty development opportunities to supplement topics not addressed by CFE. It is also important for faculty to consider opportunities to learn that is external to UCSF.
