Co-Director
Professor of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care
Dr. James Frank, MD, MA, FCCP, ATSF is a clinician-educator and Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco where he serves as the Director of the Haile T. Debas Academy of Medical Educators and holds the William G. Irwin Endowed Chair. His clinical work includes critical care medicine, pulmonary medicine, and pleural procedure services. He also has an active interest in pulmonary embolism care and cofounded the first pulmonary embolism response team in the UCSF system.
